Manhattan Plazas

Pedestrian plazas are areas designed by the Department of Transportation for pedestrian use and enjoyment. These areas can be permitted for charitable, civic or commercial purposes. Each pedestrian plaza falls under a particular level (A, B, C, or D). These levels are determined by their size and location. Learn about plaza levels.
