On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the annual 4th of July Fireworks will launch from four barges in the lower East River and off the Brooklyn Bridge.

The City of New York is committed to informing all New Yorkers about how to experience the Fireworks display in person. Additionally, the City of New York is committed to informing residents and business owners about interruptions in normal operations in their area.

This Community Notice covers information for both Brooklyn and Manhattan, including street closures.

The public viewing information in this notice is for Manhattan ONLY. In Manhattan, there is open public viewing along the elevated portions of the FDR. Click on the Viewing Locations button for the public access points in Manhattan, which do not require a ticket.

All viewing locations in Brooklyn are Public Ticketed Viewing, and those tickets have been distributed. Anyone with a ticket for Brooklyn should refer to their confirmation email for Access Point location.

The World Cup will take place in New York and New Jersey this June and July. There will be eight match days, as well as Fan Fests and excitement throughout the five boroughs.
