In Your Community

ACS can connect you and your family to community-based programs that promote well-being for you, your children, and your community.

Community Partnerships are neighborhood coalitions whose members include service providers, community leaders, and residents to share local resources and information, address community needs, design and promote strategies to  support families and communities to thrive. The partnerships host open, monthly meetings in all five boroughs. Community Partnerships can help you and your family navigate to resources and services, including concrete needs like food and clothing.  More information about Community Partnerships.

Family Enrichment Centers (FEC) are warm, inviting spaces open to any and all members of the community. They are led by caring staff and community advisory groups to provide offerings where neighbors can connect, support each other and realize dreams. More information about the Family Enrichment Centers.

The Group Attachment Based Intervention program, also known as GABI, helps caregivers (with children under the age of 4) build strong bonds with their young children and foster their healthy development. The program provides clinician-facilitated play therapy as well as one-on-one clinical session and peer support to parents. More information about GABI.
