Patients Update

Joint Statement from NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation and NYC Department of Health

The 5-yr old patient who received care at HHC Bellevue Hospital Center after testing negative for Ebola was discharged from the hospital today. Lab results confirmed the patient had a respiratory illness that was treated. The patient requires no further hospitalization but will be actively monitored along with his mother and one other sibling, as they have returned from Guinea within the last 21 days.

The patient with Ebola, Dr. Spencer, remains in serious but stable condition.
