Merrill Pond

Merrill is executive vice president at the Partnership for New York City, managing the research and policy teams. Merrill is primarily responsible for developing research across all the Partnership’s priority areas including economic development, education, workforce development, and maintaining New York’s continued competitiveness. Merrill currently serves as the chair of the New York City Public Schools’ Pathways Advisory Council and on the board of United Community Schools, among other appointments. 
 
Merrill holds a master’s degree in public affairs with a focus on environmental management and science from Indiana University, and a master’s degree in philosophy and J.D. from the University of Connecticut. Her undergraduate degree is from St. John’s College, Annapolis, Maryland.
