What Phase of the RFP Process Are We In?

1 Community Visioning

2 Open Request

The Hunter’s Point South Parcel E RFP was released on June 13, 2025.Submissions were due on September 5, 2025.

3 Submissions Review

HPD reviewed submissions and designated the winning development team on July 29, 2026.

4 Developer Designation

On July 29, 2026, HPD announced the designation of Parcel E to a development team consisting of Slate Property Group, The Hudson Companies, and Volunteers of America. The development team will transform the site into mixed-use, mixed-income development with affordable housing, a daycare center, a workforce development center, an indoor community pool, and commercial retail space.

The project is expected to produce approximately 950 new homes, including 658 income-restricted to low- and moderate-income households.
