The 2026-2027 Property Registration has begun. You may access your Property Registration Form via the Property Registration Online System (PROS). Remember to return your completed Property Registration Form to the Registration Assistance Unit’s Post Office Box and make your payment for the Annual Property Registration Fee to the NYC Department of Finance (DOF).
Local Law 151 of 2025 requires owners of buildings with 3+ units and steam heat to inspect steam radiators every two years in:
Units with a steam radiator and a child under age six
All common areas
Starting January 2027, owners must give tenants the Annual Notice for Inspection of Steam Radiators between January 1–16 each year. Tenants must return it by February 15.
Housing Ambassadors offer free assistance with preparing and applying for affordable housing, and can give support in more than 20 languages, including American Sign Language. You can filter your search by borough, preferred language, and accessibility needs.
