NYC DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE MARKS CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK BY HIGHLIGHTING SERVICES AVAILABLE TO NEW YORKERS AT IN-PERSON BUSINESS CENTERS

DOF Business Centers across the five boroughs help New Yorkers access benefits, resolve issues, and navigate City taxes

In honor of Customer Service Week, the New York City Department of Finance (DOF) is reminding New Yorkers of the services and assistance available at DOF Business Centers across the five boroughs.

New Yorkers who walk into or make an appointment at a DOF Business Center can receive support in a range of areas including:

  • Payment collection for parking tickets, property taxes, and more
  • Parking or camera violation payment plans
  • Property exemption and Rent Freeze Program assistance
  • IDNYC replacement services
  • Court and Trust services
  • Cash bail services
  • City Register services

“Every New Yorker deserves equitable access to government services and the support they need to navigate them,” said DOF Commissioner Richard Lee. “Our business centers connect New Yorkers with staff who can help answer questions and resolve challenges related to navigating City taxes, payments, benefits, and other financial matters. As we mark Customer Service Week, I want to thank our dedicated staff who work every day to ensure DOF services are accessible, responsive, and equitable for all New Yorkers.”

Foreign language interpretation services for more than 175 spoken languages are available in all five of our borough business centers.
