Mayor Bill de Blasio and Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro Honor Eight Members of the Fire Department Who Have Died in The Past Year at FDNY Memorial Day

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro will honor eight FDNY members who have died in the past year at the 112th Annual FDNY Memorial Service on Thursday, October 10th at 12 p.m. at The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Avenue at 112th Street, Manhattan.

Those who will be honored tomorrow are:

Firefighter Michael J. Reilly
Firefighter Faizal Coto
Firefighter Steven H. Pollard*
Firefighter Stephen J. Brady
Firefighter Christopher A. Slutman*
EMT Adam Vazquez
Captain Michael C. Thomas
Lieutenant Brian J. Sullivan*

*Died in the Line of Duty

Due to anticipated inclement weather, the service will not be taking place at the Firemen’s Monument which is located at 100th Street and Riverside Drive.
