The FDNY participates in Guardian Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral to honor first responders

On Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, FDNY members attended the 2025 Guardian Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City.

The service, which happens every two years, recognizes the unwavering commitment of first responders, honors the memory of those who have made the Supreme Sacrifice, and expresses gratitude to the men and women working in public safety who protect New Yorkers every day.
