Overlooking Lower Manhattan, the Department holds 2026 FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Service on Staten Island

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, Fire Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore welcomed the families of FDNY members to the 2026 FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Service at FerryHawk Stadium on Staten Island. The ceremony commemorated the 25th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks and honored the 343 members who made the Supreme Sacrifice that day, and those who have since died from World Trade Center-related illnesses.
