The FDNY celebrates 100th anniversary of Engine 89/Ladder 50 in the Bronx

The FDNY marked 100 years of service from Engine 89/Ladder 50 at a centennial celebration Monday, May 11, 2026, in the Bronx. The celebration held inside of firehouse quarters included members, alumni, family, and friends.

Engine 89/Ladder 50 went into service in 1926, serving the residents of the Bronx and New York City.
