The FDNY and the FDNY Foundation present the film ‘Remembering Judge’

The FDNY and FDNY Foundation released the official trailer for “Remembering Judge” on August 27, 2026. The new film shares the story and legacy of FDNY Chaplain Father Mychal Judge, the first officially recorded victim of the September 11th terrorist attacks, designated as Victim 0001.
The film was co-released with a second one titled "Resilience," which examines the ongoing health impacts experienced by FDNY members who took part in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site.
Both films will have a limited theatrical release at the Firehouse Cinema in Lower Manhattan at 87 Lafayette Street, New York, NY, 10013. Ticket proceeds help support the lifesaving mission of the FDNY Foundation, the Department's official nonprofit organization.
