The FDNY celebrates 100th anniversary of Ladder 153 in Brooklyn

The FDNY marked 100 years of service from Ladder 153 at a centennial celebration Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, in Brooklyn. The celebration inside of firehouse quarters included members, alumni, family, and friends.

Ladder 153 went into service in March 1925, serving the residents of the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn and New York City.
