FDNY Commissioner Robert S. Tucker to Preside Over Promotion Ceremony for 83 Members of Fire Operations

The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will preside over a promotion ceremony for 83 members of Fire Operations on Thursday, May 29 at 10 a.m. at the College of Staten Island. The ceremony can be viewed live on the Department's website at www.nyc.gov/FDNY or HERE.

One Deputy Chief will be promoted to Deputy Assistant Chief, 10 Lieutenants will be promoted to the rank of Captain, 65 Firefighters will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, one Assistant Engineer will be promoted to Chief Marine Engineer, three Firefighters will be promoted to Marine Engineers, and three Firefighters will be promoted to Marine Wipers. 

The newly promoted members will be assigned to units throughout New York City.
