FDNY HOLDS GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR 145 PROBATIONARY EMTs
FDNY will hold a graduation ceremony for 145 Probationary Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Christian Cultural Center – 12020 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn.
“With their completion of rigorous training at the FDNY EMS Academy, these Probationary EMTs are equipped to continue the Department’s mission in keeping New Yorkers safe,” said Fire Commissioner Nigro. “Their service is critical as the Department responded to more than 1.7 million emergencies last year.”
The officers will be assigned to units throughout New York City.
WHO: Acting First Deputy Commissioner Laura Kavanagh; Chief of Department James E. Leonard; Chief of EMS Operations James P. Booth; and many other FDNY officials, and families.
