    The FDNY hosted the 2026 FDNY EMS Week Competition on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the EMS Academy at Fort Totten, Queens. The event takes place annually to help celebrate National EMS Week. The competition is an opportunity for FDNY EMTs and paramedics to display their emergency medical service skills.
