Each year, New York City Community Emergency Response Teams and members are recognized for their volunteer efforts.

Presidential Service Award
All NYC CERT members who accrue 100 or more volunteer hours in one calendar year are honored with a Presidential Service Award in April, which is National Volunteer Month.
