Special Initiatives WLG Programming

• Between the ages of 16 and 20 years old
• Enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program
• A participant of Special Initiatives SYEP 2025
• NYC Resident legally allowed to work in the U.S.

• CareerReady WLG 
• Between the ages of 16 and 19 years old
• Enrolled in a CR-partnered high school
• A participant of CareerReady SYEP 2025
• NYC Resident legally allowed to work in the U.S.

• The Work, Learn & Grow (WLG) Program is a 22-week program that provides NYC public high school students who participated in CareerReady SYEP or Special Initiatives SYEP with the chance to earn college credit, receive academic support, gain work experience and pay for their participation.
• You may qualify for CareerReady WLG if you are between the ages of 16 and 19 as of October 27, 2025, enrolled in a public high school, and were a participant of CareerReady SYEP 2025.
• You may qualify for Special Initiatives WLG if you are between the ages of 16 and 20 as of October 27, 2025, are currently enrolled in a high school or a high school equivalency program, and were a participant of Special Initiatives SYEP 2025.
