Participants

This training is designed for mobile outreach staff at all levels who provide crisis and community outreach to people in a mental health crisis or who are experiencing homelessness.

The training provides 9.58 designation under the Mental Hygiene Law for qualified mental health professionals, including social workers (LMSW/LCSW), psychologists (PhD/PsyD), registered professional nurses, and physicians operating on a mobile outreach team approved by the NYS Commissioner of Mental Health. As training capacity is limited, these professionals get priority.

Social workers who complete the full training will receive continuing education units.
