The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is pleased to announce that Site Connection Proposals (SCPs) and House Connection Proposals (HCPs) can now be submitted and tracked online through the Permit and Review Information System (PARIS).

This launch is part of DEP’s ongoing effort to streamline water and sewer permitting, reduce processing times**, and improve communication with applicants.

What You Can Do in PARIS

• Submit SCP and HCP applications online
• Upload required documents and plans directly
• Track application status and receive real-time updates
• Communicate with DEP reviewers within the system

Important for Professional Engineers and Registered Architects

If you are already registered in PARIS (e.g., for Records Requests), please verify that your license information is up to date. Expired license records will prevent you from submitting SCPs or HCPs.

To update your license, email paris@dep.nyc.gov with your name, license number, and expiration date.
