Get to Know DDC

The Office of Diversity and Industry Relations is committed to creating an equitable and competitive business environment through accountability, business development, contract compliance and industry relations. We are constantly looking to connect with M/WBEs through the many events, both in-person and virtual, that we host and attend throughout the year.

We encourage M/WBEs to keep an eye out for our networking events, where you can learn about our project pipeline, discuss contracting opportunities, and meet prime contractors who have committed to subcontract to M/WBEs.

Additional events hosted by DDC's outreach team include our borough-based construction career and training resource fairs. These are a great opportunity to connect with employers, learn about job training programs, and build a network. We also host a virtual Design-Build Forum on a quarterly basis.

Beyond the events we host, DDC attends and exhibits at external events whenever possible. Many of these events are sponsored by our partner agencies, such as the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) and NYC Small Business Services (SBS).
