Yes, on August 1, 2026, the 2-Hour Mental Health Awareness course will replace the 2-Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness course. However, the Department will allow either course to be delivered between May 3, 2026, and August 1, 2026 (90 days after the effective date). During the 90 days either course may give 2 hours of credit towards a new SST card issuance.
