We’re always looking to highlight projects that show NYC Open Data in action.
We love showcasing work that uses Open Data. Projects can be featured in our Project Gallery and sometimes as featured content on the dataset about page as well!
The best projects meet one or more of the following criteria:
A submission does not need to meet every criteria in order to be considered for publication, but all projects must use NYC Open Data. To understand our assessment process more, check out our rubric.
Are you an instructor who uses Open Data in your assignments? Or have you created some sort of tutorial or educational resource? We welcome these submissions, and suggest keeping these additional criteria in mind:
You will need to agree to these rules to submit your project
The form requires you to list each of the datasets from Open Data that you used
We aim to review projects on a quarterly basis in February, May, August, and November. If more than six months have passed and you haven't heard from us please contact us.
