  HHC's financial assistance program offers help for patients applying for government-sponsored health insurance. For those who may not qualify for any type of insurance, it will reduce your bill to an affordable level.

  An HHC subsidiary that provides low or no-cost health insurance through these plans -- Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, Medicaid HIV Special Needs Plan and MetroPlus Medicare. MetroPlus also offers MetroPlus Gold for employees of HHC and their dependents.

Other Public Financial Assistance - Our financial counselors can help you get financial assistance for healthcare costs through a number of programs.

Prescription Assistance - If you don't have prescription coverage, we can help you access several programs that could help.

MANAGED CARE
If you need information about your managed care plan, please see a representative in the Customer Service Office. If you have Medicaid, please speak with one of our Medicaid Manage Care counselors about enrolling in a Managed Care Plan. For additional information, call us at (212) 939-8042.

PHARMACY
The Pharmacy is conveniently located on the first floor of the Ronald H. Brown Ambulatory Care Pavilion. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you do not have Medicaid, Medicare or insurance coverage, there is a $10 co-payment for each prescription (212) 939-8073.

TRANSPORATION
The Transportation Office will help you make arrangements to get to Harlem Hospital Center by ambulette or livery if you have Medicaid and your doctor recommends it. Call: (212) 939-8160.

SOCIAL WORK
We can help you get the family support and social services you need. Our Social Workers are specially trained to help you manage your care and make sure you and your family get the support you need. Call (212) 939-4600
