Substance Abuse

We provide services to patients who suffer from addictive behaviors through our outpatient Addiction Recovery Center and our inpatient Drug Detoxification Program. All of our programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).

Addiction Recovery Center

Our Addiction Recovery Center offers comprehensive, efficient services that view chemical dependency and addiction as a chronic, relapsing medical condition. We utilize a culturally-competent, person-directed, strength-based, recovery-oriented approach. The program co-locates and integrates chemical dependency, health and mental health services. We incorporate the use of evidenced-based and emerging best practices to provide an effective continuum of education and services. Our staff facilitates screening, identification, early intervention, and cost-effective treatment services geared towards improving access, engagement, retention, and outcomes for program participants. We provide linkages back to the local community to support long term recovery and abstinence from problematic use.

A Methadone Treatment Program is available for opiate addicts who are 18 years and older. The methadone maintenance program provides both addiction and rehabilitation counseling. For additional information, call 212-423-6821 or 212-423-6822.

Drug Detoxification Program

Our Drug Detoxification Program is housed in a 19-bed unit providing detoxification for opiate addicts, 18 years and older. Treatment protocol uses gradually decreasing dosages of methadone followed by 48 hours of drug free treatment for observation. Referrals for aftercare are given to the patient on discharge. To learn more, call 212-423-7121 or 212-423-7122.
