Transfers
Transfers Image Transfers may be available to students due to a medical or safety reason.

Additionally, transfers may be available through the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Transfer requests based on a medical need must be made in writing and include a document of support by a medical doctor. Safety transfers requests must also be in writing and include a copy of a police report regarding the incident(s) which constitute a need for a transfer.

NCLB transfers may be requested based on the status of the school the student attends. If a school has a SINI (School In Need of Improvement) status, parents will be offered the opportunity to transfer their child to another non SINI school. Details regarding safety transfers under NCLB are outlined in the Chancellor’s Regulations.
