How to Renew a Press Card
The Press Credentials Office will begin accepting renewal applications on July 6, 2026, for Press Card holders whose credentials expire on January 15, 2027. Renewal application deadlines are according to the first letter of the applicant’s last name. Please refer to the schedule below.

- You may submit your application before or during your designated window. Renewal applications submitted after the designated windows or after Dec 15, 2026, are not guaranteed to be processed by Jan 15th, 2027.
- Expired press cards must be surrendered to the PCO at the time a renewal press card is issued. Please be sure to follow directions for a Lost/Stolen Press Cards.
- Renewal Press Cards will be distributed mid-January 2027 regardless of when the renewal application was processed.
