How to File a Complaint
- Download and complete the official complaints form
- Email the completed form to presscredential@media.nyc.gov
Include the following information in your email:
- The press card holder's full name
- A comprehensive account of the alleged misconduct, including:
- Date, time, and location of incident
- Description of the conduct in question
- Law enforcement involvement:
- Whether the incident was reported to police
- Whether an arrest was made (include case number if available)
- Supporting evidence (attach or provide links):
- Photographs or video recordings
- Police reports or incident documentation
- Witness contact information
- Published content or website links
- Any other relevant materials
All complaints are reviewed by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment in accordance with Title 43, Chapter 16 of the Rules of the City of New York.
