"Created in NY"

The NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment is proud to launch a new program, “Created in NY”!

New Yorkers are encouraged to submit their vertical series and microdramas to the ALZA Festival — NYC’s first festival dedicated to vertical storytelling — where they will be featured in a “Created in NY” showcase and get the opportunity to receive a “Made in NY" award. 

The festival will take place October 16-18, 2026, at AMC 19th Street.

Submissions are now open at alzafestival.com/submissions
