EEAP Outreach Materials

Helping New Yorkers Save on Energy Costs

The Enhanced Energy Affordability Program (EEAP) helps New York City households with low to moderate incomes lower their monthly energy costs through discounts on their Con Edison or National Grid bills. Eligible households could save up to $33 each month on electric bills and up to $135 each month on gas bills, putting meaningful savings back into household budgets.

On October 20, 2026, the NYC Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit (PEU) and the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice (MOCEJ) will hold an EEAP Day of Action, bringing outreach directly into communities across New York City to make sure New Yorkers know about the program, understand how they may qualify, and know how to apply. PEU and MOCEJ teams will help spread the word about how EEAP can lower monthly energy costs and connect eligible households to this important opportunity to save money. Help Us Spread the Word.
