Get in the spirit of the holidays on Tuesday, Dec. 2, when the FDNY and the FDNY Foundation host a special 2026 Calendar of Heroes meet-and-greet and autograph signing at the FDNY Fire Zone in Rockefeller Center in New York City.
The FDNY officially launched a new training program, 'Control the Bleed,' in an effort to provide bystanders with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively when faced with life-threatening bleeding.
On Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, the FDNY launched a new recruitment campaign to hire more EMTs and EMS trainees: "Save Lives. Change Lives. Join FDNY EMS."
