At a Public Information Briefing on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, FDNY officials provided an update on a 5-alarm fire in Queens.
The FDNY is sounding the alarm following a series of fatal fires in November. All eight claimed the lives of elderly New Yorkers. The Department released a new PSA on Nov. 26, urging all New Yorkers to take immediate steps to protect themselves and their loved ones.
As New Yorkers gear up for the 2025 holiday season, the FDNY has released its latest Public Service Announcement (PSA) focused on preventing kitchen fires.
