Youth Count 2023

The NYC Youth Count is an annual survey that is part of the citywide effort to determine New Yorkers’ housing situation on Tuesday, January 24. The Youth Count will start on Wednesday, January 25, through Friday, January 27.

During the NYC Youth Count, Runaway and Homeless Youth provider staff and volunteers will ask young people between the ages of 14 through 24 to participate in a short anonymous survey. The count will be conducted during regular business hours at participating youth-serving programs, including emergency shelters, drop-in centers, outreach teams, and other programs.
