See the Restaurant Inspection Results (Letter Grades).
Since 2010, New York City has required restaurants to post letter grades that correspond to scores received from sanitary inspections. An inspection score of 0 to 13 is an A, 14 to 27 points is a B, and 28 or more points is a C. Grade cards must be posted where they can easily be seen by people passing by.
If your letter grade card has been lost, stolen, damaged or not issued by the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH), you should report it as soon as possible by calling the Bureau of Food Safety and Community Sanitation at (212) 676-1600 or sending an e-mail to infobfscs@health.nyc.gov.
In order to obtain a replacement card, you must provide a completed notarized Replace a Grade Card (PDF) form to the Bureau of Food Safety and Community Sanitation.
