The New York City Public Service Corps (PSC)

The New York City Public Service Corps (PSC) is the nation's first and largest off-campus internship program offering paid and academic credit undergrad and graduate internships. These internships are contemporary and authentic resume-builders and continue to guide student careers and access to City Agency employment.

Eligibility

All New York City government agencies are eligible for PSC interns. The PSC is a DCAS program, with sponsorship from City agencies, the Federal Work-Study Program, and participating institutions of higher education.

Note: Each participating school contributes (through Federal Work-Study funds) 75% of the interns’ salary and the hiring agency provides the remaining 25%. Public Service Corps Work-Study students receive an hourly wage.
