The Isaac Liberman Public Service Awards (PSA)

Who is eligible?

Permanent civil service employees of the City of New York with current salaries of $103,500 or less are eligible.

What are the selection criteria?

Public Service Award recipients perform exceptionally on the job by either:

1. measurably improving the efficiency and quality of services to the people of New York City, or
2. significantly enhancing the prestige of City Service, or
3. demonstrating dedication to their work well beyond their job descriptions.

Who can nominate or apply?

Any agency, supervisor, union, or co-worker may nominate any employee, including themselves. Nominations must be endorsed by the Agency Head.
