Summer Internship Program

The ACS Summer Internship Program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with hybrid work experiences to support their professional growth and contribute to the City's talent pipeline within 15 ACS Divisions, including:

Summer Interns participate in hands-on projects as well as an enrichment program designed to fully engage students into the ACS and NYC government experience. Internship programming includes professional development workshops, lunch and learns, speaker events, City government tours, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications
- Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Recent graduates who have obtained their undergraduate degrees within one year of the current program year
Compensation
- Undergraduates: $19.50 per hour
- Graduates: $26.73 per hour
Selection Criteria
- Structured interviews are conducted to select the best qualified candidates for each internship position based on fields of study, past work experiences, and specific soft skills and technical skills
Current Internship Period
- June 1, 2026-August 28, 2026
- Interns can work up to a maximum of 35 hours per week for 13 weeks
