Diabetes is a serious health threat which is rapidly reaching epidemic proportions. Our diabetes programs offer a powerful arsenal of comprehensive care, ongoing monitoring, individual and group educational programs, nutritional counseling, exercise programs, and follow-up for both children and adults. By forming a partnership with patients, our providers help patients to bring this potentially debilitating disease under control.

  • HIV Services  - Project BRIEF
The Center for Disease Control recommends that everyone between the ages of 13-64 know their HIV status. Those infected with HIV can be unaware of their status, and can unknowingly transmit the virus to others. Early HIV intervention and treatment saves lives. Jacobi’s acclaimed Project BRIEF offers fast and easy testing via a simple and painless oral test.  It also provides important prevention and education counseling, with an innovative and discrete video educational system. This service takes less than 30 minutes, and is available in our emergency department and in many other outpatient areas of the hospital. Patients who do test positive are immediately linked to care provided by our HIV Center, where doctors offer all the latest in HIV/AIDS treatments, services, and support programs. Get tested today – It could save your life, or the life of someone you love.
