Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Take Care NY this October by taking control of your health! Throughout the month, HHC public hospitals and health centers in every borough will offer fitness tests and screenings for some of the most serious chronic diseases affecting you and our community.

Visit a Take Care NY event at a New York City public hospital or health center near you. Commit to Be Fit by taking a Fit Test to check your Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, and cardio level. Get a FREE pedometer when you take the test along with personalized recommendations for next steps to better health. Get a flu shot or a simple test for diabetes, HIV, depression, cancer or other life-threatening diseases. All screenings are offered at little or no cost.
