Children & Adolescents

Harlem Hospital Center’s services for children and adolescents are internationally recognized for innovation and quality care. We have a wide variety of pediatric programs and services and some or the best pediatricians, clinicians and community-based collaborations in the country. We deliver compassionate, comprehensive health and supportive care for the children I your family.

Our Pediatric Emergency Department provides critical care for infants, children and adolescents who are faced with serious illness or injury. If you have a pediatric emergency, call 911 and ask to be brought to Harlem Hospital. You may also call the Pediatric Emergency Department at (212) 939-2240.

Harlem Hospital has a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, able to care for the most critically ill and the tiniest Patient.

Many of our Pediatric initiatives have been replicated across the country, including our Pediatric Injury Prevention Program, our Asthma Initiatives, the Harlem Horizon Art Studio, the Dance Leadership Program, and our Family Care Center, for teens with HIV/AIDS. For more information on these programs contact (212) 939-4012.
