The mission of The Renaissance Auxiliary, run entirely by public spirited volunteer community members, is to help expand and improve patient care services within the Renaissance Health Care Network and promote good community health. Based upon the needs of Renaissance patients, we:
- Raise funds to support Auxiliary programs through special events and by soliciting donations from local businesses and organizations.
- Act as a channel of communication and interpretation between the institution and its community.
- Provide supplementary funding assistance to the Department of Social Work Services and the Women’s Health Initiative for patient transportation, emergency patient clothing, and similar needs.
The men and women who volunteer their services to the Renaissance Auxiliary are public spirited, community-oriented people who willingly share their time and energy to help make Renaissance a better health facility, and Harlem a better community.
