The project team is led by the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC), the Mayor's Office of Resiliency (MOR), New York City Emergency Management Department (NYCEM). And the Mayor's Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
The project team includes the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Department of City Planning (DCP), the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), and the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey (PA NY/NJ).
The City has hired a consultant team led by NV5 to conduct the design and environmental review, and includes experts in coastal and waterfront engineering, urban design, landscape architecture, stormwater management, and community engagement.
