EDC Feasibility Report

In October 2015, the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) engaged Dewberry Engineers to conduct the Red Hook Integrated Flood Protection System (IFPS) feasibility study. The goal of the study was to perform a technical evaluation to identify a coastal flood risk reduction project that also integrated with the urban environment.

The work done as part of the feasibility report, including technical analysis and community outreach, has become the groundwork for the current Red Hook Coastal Resiliency Project.
