NYC's Story: The City on Record is an interactive, online exhibit celebrating 400 years of city history through founding documents, visual materials, and written accounts - capturing both defining events and everyday moments in New Yorkers' lives.
We have launched a new public platform for the Neighborhood Stories project—an interactive ArcGIS map where you can now explore 50 stories from everyday, extraordinary New Yorkers. Listen to oral history-style interviews shared by New Yorkers like you — which will be preserved forever in the Municipal Archives.
DORIS has completed processing and digitizing a new collection – the New York City Commission on Human Rights records. These records date from circa 1935-1987 and are now available for public research.
