The following guides and checklists were created by MOPD to aid City agencies in creating accessible content. We encourage everyone in and outside of City government to adopt accessibility practices when creating any digital content. This includes websites, electronic documents, presentations, videos or social media posts.
The NYC Digital Blueprint is a website that the City of New York created to guide developers and content creators in making inclusive and accessible websites. Visit the Accessibility section to learn even more about digital accessibility.
The City of New York has created a bootstrap based front end framework that can be used to create webpages that are optimized for accessibility and translation. Learn more by visiting the NYC Core Framework website.
