Request a MOIA Representative

MOIA's External Affairs team builds community power and capacity within immigrant communities by raising awareness of city services in key immigrant neighborhoods and responding to community needs. MOIA’s multilingual team regularly leads MOIA Days of Action, Know Your Rights workshops, and provides in-person representation at events in order to:

  • share timely information about citywide developments,
  • clarify misinformation about immigration policy,
  • promote critical resources available to all New Yorkers in the languages they speak,
  • connect individuals with city-funded services and the help they need,
  • elevate community feedback to city agencies and stakeholders, and
  • build partnerships to address the diverse needs of immigrant communities

Invite MOIA to join you! New Yorkers can submit a request for a member of the MOIA team to come to your event or work with you to create an event to share information about city services and resources, lead workshops or trainings on MOIA programs and services. To submit a request, please complete the external affairs event form online.
