COVID-19: Providers

General Information for Providers

COVID-19 remains a major health concern. Encourage your patients to:

  • Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, including getting a 2023-2024 updated COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Consider wearing a face mask in public indoor settings, especially if your patients are at increased risk for severe COVID-19.
  • Stay home if sick.
  • Wash their hands often.
  • Get tested if they develop symptoms or were exposed.
  • Contact a health care provider if they test positive; treatment can prevent severe COVID-19.
