The East of Hudson (EOH) Septic System Rehabilitation Reimbursement Program provides reimbursement to property owners in priority areas of New York City’s Watershed to assist with the cost of rehabilitating their failing septic system. Property owners located in the targeted areas who meet the program’s eligibility criteria can obtain reimbursement for a portion of the eligible costs to replace or repair their failing septic system, subject to the program’s rules.
The program serves priority areas in the Kensico, Boyd Corners, West Branch, Cross River, Croton Falls and hydrologically connected watershed basins (i.e. East Branch, Diverting, Middle Branch, and Bog Brook).
To receive program funds the owner and associated residential property must meet the speciļ¬c corresponding watershed basin program plan requirements. The program plan requirements, include but are not limited to, the following criteria:

You may only apply for reimbursement if you have already received a written Determination of Eligibility and completed your repair. Any reimbursement applications submitted without a prior Determination of Eligibility will be denied (if you would like to request a written Determination of Eligibility, please submit the Intake Form).
