Language Assistance Advisory Committee (LAAC)

The Civic Engagement Commission (CEC) is seeking volunteers to serve on the Language Assistance Advisory Committee (LAAC).

LAAC members will play an important role in developing and implementing the CEC's poll site language assistance program. Volunteers with a passion and commitment to ensuring all New Yorkers are able to exercise the right to vote are strongly encouraged to apply!

The Application period remains open for Italian and Polish speaking candidates. If you have questions regarding the LAAC or submitting an application, please email info@civicengagement.nyc.gov.

Join the Participatory Budgeting Advisory Committee

The Participatory Budgeting Advisory Committee (PBAC) advises the Civic Engagement Commission to improve processes and strategies relating to The People’s Money. The PBAC provides recommendations to the Commission regarding the development and implementation of citywide participatory budgeting (PB), which may include recommendations ranging from best practices for outreach and education to methods that promote efficiency and equity in the administration of the program.
