How Do I Request a Payment Rate Increase?

Child care providers may be eligible to receive a higher payment for children in their care. The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) establishes the maximum payment rates child care providers can receive in New York City. Group Child Care Comprehensive Background Checks (CBC)

The Health Department has launched an online CBC form, which replaces the “A-Series” forms and email processing.
Beginning May 22, 2023, group child care programs must submit CBC applications online for a staff or volunteer who:

Request a new CBC, including staff with a break in service
Has a CBC clearance and wants to work at another program
